Cristopher Cook grew up in the suburbs of Seattle and found early artistic inspiration while visiting First Thursday Art walk as a student and constant drawing growing up.
He was trained as a graphic designer and illustrator at Seattle Central Community College and has spent the next 15 years designing interactive educational software, websites and mobile phone applications.
Drawing inspiration from train yards, broken-down cars and old signage; Cris creates paintings that are desolate snapshots of our contemporary world.
Cris has shown his work in Seattle at the SCCC Gallery, Snowboard Connection, The Whiskey Bar and the Greenwood Collective.
Cris is also active in local art scene as owner of Flatcolor Gallery in Pioneer Square. http://www.flatcolor.com
